Joining Wasatch Martial Arts Academy means joining a steady, ongoing commitment — yours to your training, and mine to being there for you. Every Tuesday and Thursday, I’ll be on the floor ready to teach, and your membership is what keeps that door open and that schedule dependable, month after month, season after season.
Tuition
- Individual: $154/month
- Family (two or more members, unlimited): $350/month
Tuition is billed automatically each month and renews until you let us know you’d like to stop.
What Your Membership Covers
Your tuition gives you a standing place in our class schedule — Tuesday and Thursday, 5:00–7:00 PM, with the All Rank class at 5:00 and the Adult class at 6:00. It also includes everything you need to test for rank; we don’t charge a separate testing fee at any level, which is something I’m glad to be able to offer.
Cancellation
You’re free to cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice — in person, by mail, or by email. There’s no reactivation fee, and you’re always welcome back whenever you’re ready.
No Freezes or Pauses
We don’t offer membership freezes or holds, including over the summer. If you know you’ll be away for an extended stretch, you have two straightforward options: keep your membership active and train when you can, or cancel with 30 days’ notice and rejoin later with no penalty.
Federation Membership
All students maintain a separate, individual membership with the US Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation (subachdo.us). This is billed directly by the Federation and is required for certified rank promotion — it’s separate from your tuition here at WMAA.
Event & Tournament Participation
An active WMAA membership is required to take part in any Federation-sanctioned event or locally sponsored tournament, seminar, or special training session.
